Commissioned by Fox Sports for their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, this piece is our personal tribute to the heartbeat of South Africa. As South Africans, we wanted to go beyond a simple illustration and capture the soul of our fans. We centered the design on the Makarapa - a hand-crafted symbol of our soccer culture - alongside the iconic Vuvuzela and Bafana Bafana’s striking new away kit. In an era where digital automation is everywhere, we chose a different path: a meticulous, handmade process. We intentionally embraced a loose style with subtle imperfections, because that is who we are. We aren’t a polished, "perfect" people; we are vibrant, loud, and beautifully unique.
